Scriptural Financial Freedom Obtaining God's blessings

The great financial turn-off

First impressions last. Nobody likes to shop in a run-down store or walk into a messy cluttered office or unfriendly staff. Are you showing your best professionalism to your customers? Take stock of your place of business. A dilapidated warehouse or manufacturing plant or storage area raises questions about the quality of the products being shipped out the door from your company. When customers walk through the doors of your office, are they impressed or appalled?

Make sure you take time to walk around your compound or establishment with a notepad, writing down items that need to be cleaned up. Your first priority is clean up. Take down clutter from walls, wash the windows, and make sure that the floors are clean and the hallways and aisles are clear. Remove old files to storage and get rid of equipment, chairs and desks that aren't being used.

Secondly, find some low-cost ways to make your business more attractive to customers. Put up a fresh coat of paint. Create an pleasant atmosphere with soft lighting. Add some plants, maybe even a fishtank (and make sure its maintained, you want your customers to see dead fishes still floating around). Get the carpets cleaned.

Thirdly, make sure your staff are friendly and helpful to your customers. Keep reminding them once in a while Send them for training if necessary. To help your staff give a good impression to customers, have a neat sofa or chairs at your reception. Create a display area of your products, maybe even a computer display.

Take pride in your place of business and you'll be amazed at the positive response from your customers.

Scripture: Know well the condition of your flocks, and pay attention to your herds; for riches are not forever (Proverbs 27:23-24).
