Scriptural Financial Freedom Obtaining God's blessings

A few good leaders

When Nehemiah was appointed governor ofJudah, he had every right to receive taxes and food offerings from the people. But he refused to take advantage of his privileged position and chose instead to help the people rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Not only did he get his own hands dirty, but he put his servants and attendants to work as well.

On the job, are you a model of integrity and hard work? Are you willing to pitch in to get the job done, or do you take advantage of your position? Are you accepting any unreasonable perks or favors? Take an honest look in the mirror. Would you want your staff to follow your example?

If you're a leader, your business or department will reflect your values and your staff will live by your example. Set a high standard, keep your nose to the grindstone, and lead with integrity. Your positive work ethic will increase productivity—and success will follow.

It is by his deeds that a lad distinguishes himself if his
conduct is pure and right (Proverbs 20:11).

Scripture: And I also applied myself to the work on this wall; we did not buy any land, and all my servants were gathered there for the work (Nehemiah 5:16).
